SUPERLOADER FOR PES 2017 by FAMOUS DOGG
WHAT IS SUPERLOADER AND WHY YOU SHOULD USE IT?
Superloader v2 is an improved version of my older Superloader modules which now comes with a full graphical interface that allows you to change some very useful graphical and other settings in PES 2017 with a simple button click. The purpose of Superloader is to give users a way to get the best and most realistic pitches (turfs), lighting and shader effects and other visual improvements for their sider-based stadiums. A lot of sider stadiums tend to have very inconsistent lighting and pitch designs which breaks the sense of immersion— Superloader will allow you to apply your chose improvements across every single sider stadium during runtime through a beautifully designed interface.
Along with pitches and lighting improvements, Superloader aims to bring numerous other crucial quality-of-life improvements to PES 2017 such as the ability to adjust the darkness of stadium roof shadows, change the referee kit colours at runtime, increase the visibility of the balls, change the physics of the goal net, disable or enable derby/rivalry matches and much more. There is also the ability to fix the “Real Eyes” bug with most face packs and other enhancements such as improved stain textures on players’ kits.
This tool is truly a game changer for fans of PES 2017!
SETUP
Go to the “Sider->modules” directory and copy the two lua modules which are “StadiumServer.lua” and “superLoader.lua” to the modules directory of your PES 2017 Sider.
Next, go to the “Sider->content” directory and copy the folder called “superLoader” into the content directory of your PES 2017 Sider.
In the “sider.ini” file, you must add the two modules in the order shown below:
lua.module = "superLoader.lua"
lua.module = "StadiumServer.lua"
Finally, navigate to your PES 2017’s “Sider->content->superLoader->SuperLoader Tool” directory. Here, you will find a windows application called “SuperLoader Tool.exe”. It is recommended that you create a shortcut to this application at a convenient location so that you don’t have to navigate to this folder over and over again.
Run the “SuperLoader Tool.exe” and see all the instructions and try out different settings. Have fun!
When you first run the tool, it will default to the best settings which I personally use for my installation of PES 2017 but there’s a lot to explore so take your time and see what combination you like best.
NOTE that some features of the tool can be applied or changed before a kick-off but for other changes, you will need to restart the game. The tool will inform you when you need to restart.
By default, the logging feature of the tool is disabled in the UI. This prevents the sider from writing anything to its log file and improves the game’s performance on low-end devices. If you are facing any issues or errors while using Superloader, you should enable the logging feature and reach out to me with a copy of your “Sider.log” file
LATEST VERSION IS v2.2.0 RELEASED NOVEMBER 27, 2024. The latest version includes a breakthrough feature to fix the "real eyes" issue that often causes problems with a lot of face packs and the game can become stuck at the start or end of a match. I have also added some more features like enhanced stain textures for player kits and a brand new pitch with a very modern, ultra HD appearance.
